That's excellent. I love to hear that kind of stuff. I'm convinced that it's all chemical....brain chemicals and how they react to alcohol. The whole "disease" angle has merit, but I'm of the mind that your brain chemistry is the determining factor. Thankfully, your brain doesn't react to alcohol like mine does. It's like being allergic to lobster. I can eat that stuff all day, but my brother-in-law is deathly allergic! Quite frankly, there's no real difference between the two.

Of course, there are other circumstances that lead to chronic alcoholism...parenting, heredity, ability to deal with stuff in a healthy way, but overall, I'm thinking that most of it is chemical.

I was listening to O&A via simulcast in Philly, so I didn't get to hear R&F. I heard some stories due to crossover and some AFRO stuff, but that was about it.

It was beforehand. It was around the time that, Don & Mike got booted from WNEW, so there was an open slot. For a period of 7 or 8 days Ron & Fez did 11am - 3pm (I think) and theit normal 7pm -11pm shift. The shows from that period are classics, and include some classic bits like the Rutger Hauer interview and Lenay D vs. Cyrus the Prodigy.

I think I have it down, because I don't think there was a real clear time between the Sports Guys and Farrell. As I remember it, the Sports Guys went on Christmas vacation, and Farrell did what was supposed to be "fill in" shifts in the mornings while the Sports Guys were off. However, when the vacation was over, Craig Carton was let go, and Blaine Innsley (the other Sports Guy) did the show with Farrell for a while. I may have mixed up the Sports Guys though.
