I picked Homer cause he's an innovator(I know he's not real, LAY OFF ME).
Peter Griffin shouldn't even be an option.
And there is absolutely NOTHING loveable about Cartman.
He's evil. That's why it's so funny.

He is so stupid, and so funny and the scene where he shows jealousy for his wife when he runs up to the stage to punch the singer who dedicated his song "to all the ladies in the audience" is hands down one of the top 5 funniest cartoon bits I have ever seen.
And that laugh....so perfect.
I'm going with the big, fat dynamo.

they're all gonna die of heart disease soon
yet cartman is the man, he'll do what he wants!

of the three choices Homer Simpson is the only real choice. He's the godfather of cartoon (anti)heroes. Peter Griffen is a more extreme homer knock off and Cartman is a icon in his own right. the 4 people who voted for Peter (over homer so far) should be ashamed of themselves. You've let a world of cubby ass outs down. ACT LIKE A MAN!!!!!

I gotta go with Homer. He's filled the void in my heart since I was 12.

Anyone who says Peter has even been a fraction of the funny in this single Homer clip is a damn dirty liar:

"Animation is built on plagiarism! If it weren't for someone plagiarizing The Honeymooners, we wouldn't have The Flintstones. If someone hadn't ripped off Sgt. Bilko, there'd be no Top Cat. Peter Griffin is doing homer so either vote is for Homer. Peter Griffin is basically the non-union mexican equivalent.

I love how Wiggum is right there when he says it and just sort of looks at the "camera."

I hate Peter Griffin and Family Guy. So between Homer and Cartman.
I think Homer is great. Such a major, iconic character. A legend.
But Cartman's an evil, psychotic genius. A brilliant master manipulator. He's almost a supervillain.
Giving this to Eric.
Remember, the question is who do you like best, or who is the all time best. It's "Who Would You Most Want To Be?"

i really don't understand the hate for peter griffin. i know someone else who is like that too. he just doesn't get why the show is funny. so therefore we all think he's retarded.

1972 -Wait 'Till Your Father Gets Home intro. Reminds me a little of the Simpsons, without the funny though.

They are all funny in their own ways, but I have to go with Homer.
As crazy as it sounds Homer has the ability to learn from his mistakes and become a better berson throughout the course of an episode.
Peter, on the other hand is just a self-centered, insane, terrible husband and father.
Mind you, I didn't vote on the characters ability to be funny, I based my vote on a more moralistic standpoint.

While Peter is funny and I now watch Family Guy more than I do the other two shows, I've learned everything I know about parenting from Homer and he is my number 1.
