I have a grill I will bring, it's tiny but I am sure other people have other grills as well. Mine is a smaller propane one, can cook food for a bunch of people on it but we'd want more than that.

The place we go to is FRONTIER CAMPGROUND, they are no nonsense though at times and a lot of otimes there are tons of families there, but I think now that schools in you might be able to get away with a little more. They have nice big sites with trailer hooks up, water, electricity, fire pits, etc. They also have very nice, very clean restrooms and showers.

Honestly, camping isnt bad when you are in a campground, you have a bathroom, you have running water, electricity, etc. we always bring airmattresses as well. The only thing that is a bummer is you hear what everyone else is doing, farting, burping, screwing, etc.
