Hey Mr. Movie, the Saw series has been coming out every Oct I believe since it started. I know the II & the III did, so why wouldn't the IV. I hate horror blood movies but for some reason I am soo drawn to this series. I only will watch each 1 once because I get really bad headaches after I watch them but this 1 should be really interesting cause they killed the guy & the girl, now for the DR to get the daughter back she/he has to "play the game by the rules". Sick movies but soo watchable only once tho.

I can't wait for this fad to die down and this shit goes back to straight-to-DVD where it belongs.

Amen to that. The first one was alright, but after that they just relied on blood and shock. I would be happy if they just killed off this francise.

Better that than GAP 2.

Still haven't seen the first one to be a Judge on that. Just remember, its content over quality.

If its got a decent plot, it is probably better than 90% of the films released nowadays that are total garbage but do well based on an Idiotic group we call civilians who buy into the mass marketed pieces of shit. The American public wants men dressed in fat suits as women and other moronic devices that are one note jokes, they also want that bullshit they call horror.

I watch a lot of films, and the ones I enjoy either are: 1) low budget, 2) from before my time, 3) foreign, or 4) a combo of two or more of those selections.

I dare people to see a quality flick.

I dare.

wow that was a li'l rant.

I havent gone to a new horror movie since the huge disappointment that was, "Blair Witch Project". That experience ruined me for all new crap.

I prefer the old, Omens, Exorcists, Amityvilles... even It's Alive!

Holy Crap. Why.

Why do they keep making more sequels to this movie??!!!

Holy Crap. Why.

Its simple, and its only in 3 steps.

1) its a big budget low budget film
2) The actors are no ones
3) Its a cheap "Halloween" release that they can cash in on.

I did see a scene from this one, and it was probably the best one in the movie. Now I realize thats supposed to get you to see the movie, but not with I.

I've fallen for that shit too many time, and it ain't happening again.
Hece why i still haven't seen Transformers

Movies like this are so not horror films. They're just for gore junkies. They're not scary or suspenseful in the slightest.

Somewhere, Danny Glover and Cary Elwes are wiping a tear from their eyes.

Yes, NKOTB's Donnie appeared in II and III. Although I think both Glover and Elwes are bigger than Donnie (although I like him as an actor on The Sixth Sense and Band of Brothers).

I dont think youll find anyone arguing that point, but I would say in his own respect, he is hardly a nobody at this point.

At least the Saw movies show a bit of creativity. I have not seen nor plan to see any of the "torture porn" movies because they are just gore for gore's sake. At least Saw has the semblance of a plot.

The first movie was an interesting study in low budget film making.

Those plots are getting thinner and thinner each time though.

The theatre was packed and it seemed like most people liked it, but I'm not one to review horror movies. They just don't do it for me, never have. The second half of the movie was shot so dark that I couldn't keep up with what was going on or I just didn't care.

Yeah, im not going based on you alone. Ive heard that he made it a gorey movie and lost a lot of the suspense that made it scary.

Yeah, no suspense whatsoever. I even told my gf after the movie that I totally spaced out on the parts that were supposed to be intense and suspenseful. That guy should stick to making generic hardcore music.

Does anyone know details of the Unmasked show (when it will be shown, where, etc)?

I like how Ian, the fat guy who used to be on MTV, said it - "Rob Zombie should stick to making shitty dance metal"

saw 4 seems like the franchise has potential for improvement......it's clear they will be making a lot more of these and they might actually get smarter instead of sillier.....
the money is there since the franchise is retaining it's popularity.....
bring some real talent......
keep the gore quotient high just don't make it so predictable.....

Why bother dressing up a turd? Let this stuff sink back to straight-to-DVD where it belongs and look for some genuinely scary and smart and intense slasher/revenge flicks:

and i wouldnt classify shawnee smith as a nobody either, no where near as recognizable as glover, elwes, or wahlberg but def not a nobody

not sure what to classify tobin bell as b/c i never knew who he was before the saw movies but he does have an impressive resume of tv show and b movie appearances
