If any of you saw Flair on Smackdown you'll understand where I am coming from! I looked over the tape a few minutes ago and in the first segment of the program he said something that I found funny.

He said that it is great to be a part of the greatest "sports-entertainment" organization in the world! Does anyone else remember when he was in WCW saying the same thing but saying, that we {WCW} are still the greatest wrestling promotion ever?

Damn he's more of a stooge than a tool actually! I think he got away with it by wording it sports-entertainment than wrestling but I still can't believe he still said it.

I'm not discounting anything he has done for wrestling but I thought it was like backstabbing your brother in the back! Maybe I'm alone with that thought... or maybe not.

What do you guys and gals think?

Dude, it's just part of the storyline. I mean, he's supposed to be half-owner of the WWF, he wouldn't be running down the company he co-owns.

I look at it this way: WCW is dead. It's over. It's never coming back. There's talk now that, when the WWF splits into two companies, they won't even use the WCW name. As a WCW mark since day one, that saddens me greatly, but I accept the fact that WCW is dead. It died when Flair and Sting shook hands on the final Nitro.

Vince just took around the corpse and pissed on it for the past few months.

CYYYFYYY that always pissed me off too. But as for Flair, it's just part of the storyline, it's not that big of a deal.

IT'S TIME TO PLAY THE GAME-AHHH!

Hey guys, I know its a storyline but I can't believe Flair would do a 180 a dis HIS company like that! He could have worded it differently though. That's my point.

It's fake.
There are storylines.
They know who's going to win the matches. Can someone say
"E-G-O".... THE SPOTLIGHT
He doesn't care. His contract was bought out.. And he's making peanuts compared 2....
If sting could work there now he would in a heartbeat.
The # 1 man of WCW..

flair can say whatever he wants. when hogan was getting huge doing his 2 wrestling moves he knows flair was making a living bleeding and wrestling like no one has, and no one ever will. except for maybe bret hart, flair is the best all time. he can say whatever. and as far as wcw being dead when him and sting shook hands, it was dead long before that. i would say right about the time david arquette won the belt.

it's true,
it's damn true!

Wasn't WcW always a wrestling promotion while the WWF is sports entertainment???

So Flair, really isn't contradicting himself, is he?

I hear ya Tom Poo, but all I was trying to say was that Flair could have said the same thing without dishonoring his promotion known as the NWA/WCW.

I totally agree with you all. Sheesh!

I think Flair can say whatever he wants. He carried the NWA/WCW on his back for years, then Turner signs Hogan and he's demoted to doing skits in a mental ward with Asia. Plus Bischoff did everything he could to kill off Flair and the Horsemen. It was the fans that forced Bischoff to keep bringing back Flair. Like him, don't like him, learn to love him, he's still the best thing going today, Whoo!!!

I know that the man has done enough cocaine to fund Somalia's government, but Ric Flair has always been and will always be soo damn cool.

I am so happy he is back, but the writers are totally misusing him... I dunno.. I'd like to even see his wrinkly, old man muscle body in the ring again fighting the Rock.

The Rock, I hate the Rock with a passion but damn it, if they wrestled right now, hate to admit it bur he would win convincingly! I just want to see him reform the 4 Horseman one more time with Arn Anderson in just a purely managerial capacity.

No doubt sting was one of the greatest, but he's become a born again, and doesn't want to wrestle anymore, especially not for the WWF and their *gasp* scantily clad women! So he probably wouldn't go back "in a heartbeat"

Then again, if they offered him enough money......
