They played hard, and won and destroyed every team and had great chemistry, & most of those guys were in there mid-20's and early 30's.
The game has forced them to go in the same age range as the OG team for scusses.

Also the world wasn't ready for an All-Star team in 1992, much less a team playing at a cohesive level. If they would have had better competition like today they would have been exposed.

The best player the 1992 team faced was a 38 year old Oscar Schmidt (Brazil)! The 1992 was a great team....sure, but they didn't practice, they didn't really prepare. They were packaged as an All-Star Team under the big tent.

This 2008 team actually is built like an actually basketball team going to a tournament. The 1992 team went to dunk on Angolans.

they need to expand their vocabulary about this: Lily was right in that "hate" is a strong word. if you are hard on yourself for failures, then maybe the word is "disappointed", but not self-hating. it's all in how you deal with that disappointment. I was disappointed in my repeated failures to lose weight, then a year ago I decided once and for all to do it, and I dropped 50 pounds in 4 months, and have kept it off for a year. if you really hated yourself, you wouldn't think yourself worthy of even setting self-improvement goals.
