Now That Labor Day Has Passed, And Summer Is Unofficially Over, How Would You Rate The Summer Of 2007? On A Scale Of 1-10, F_S Would Give It A 9.5...It Was A Nearly Perfect Summer!

The Main Reason For This High Rating Is The Exceptional Weather We Had In The Lovely Garden State. The Months Of May-July Here Were Unusually Beautiful...Almost No Rain And Very Few Days Over 90. August Was Rainy, But It Was Needed And It Was A Nice Wet...Rainy And Cool, Not Rain Forest Steamy.

This Great Weather Made For The Best Crops Of Peaches, Corn And Tomatoes That F_S Can Remember. The NJ Peaches Were Especially Good This Year...Very Sweet And Juicy And Not A Mealy One To Be Found.

Fat Managed To Take Several Weekend Trips, And To Spend Some Time At The Beach. At The Beginning Of The Summer, F_S Made A List Of 30 Projects He Wanted To Get Done And He Did Every Single One Of Them! And He Enjoyed A Ton Of New And Great Music!

Some Business Issues That Had Been Nagging Over The Winter Were Very Satisfactorily Resolved, Reducing Fat's Stress Level Immensely.

The Only Negatives This Summer Were (A) F_S Injured His Shoulder Doing 1 Of The 30 Projects, And It Caused Quite A Bit Of Pain For 3 Weeks In July, (B) His Wonderful Cat Spike Had To Be Put To Sleep...But He Was 21 Years Old And Lived A Very Long And Happy Life, (3) During A Thunderstorm, Fat's Downstair's TV Got Shorted Out (Probably Lightning), So He Tried To Take His Upstairs TV Down, But Dropped It At The Top Of The Stairs And It Smashed Into The Wall Putting A Few Dents And Holes In The Drywall That Have To Be Repaired. This Whole Thing Was Kind Of A Dumb Episode, So F_S Laughed At His Foolishness And Couldn't Really Get Too Upset.

So...Weather-Wise, Business-Wise, And Personally, This Was A Very Good Summer That F_S Will Remember.

Apparently The Weather In Other Parts Of The Country Made For A Not-So-Good Summer.

A- for the weather - no major heat wave, only had to turn on the A/C a handful of times.
D for what i did - no vacations, worked the whole summer through, including a few of the holidays.

on a positive note, i'm going to ireland for a vacation in october...

August- 10.0- first two weeks was just me and my chick on a road trip to nowhere in particular. Might be one of the happiest moments of my life.

it wasn't what i expected........the summer was just lackluster on a whole. i didn't do much due to preparation for my move to Florida. around the beginning of July everything slowed down and i started going out less. i did plan a pretty big going away party for myself at the end of July, and though that party was amazing it was only one night. I didn't even go down the shore at all, i cant remember a summer in my life that i didn't spend at least one week at the jersey shore. i only went to 4 Yankees games, when last summer I went to 9. it was just an off summer. so im giving my summer a C+, there was room for improvement.

I made it to the NJ Shore for 95% of the weekends this summer. Got a new job. Made some money. Got some bitching new stuff for my camera. Overall a good summer.

the summer could not have been better. The Hottub BBQ party, Reilly's birthday, The Night of the living bands event was a success, the show is really hitting a stride, getting down to DC, seen some great wrestling matches, started a new job for more money, side jobs are all paid up to date, weekend in florida and my vacation is 3 weeks away.

i am thankful for how great this summer was. i am in no means bragging. i have had a rough few years and i have finally turned a corner. thank you.
