Fuji does not make film cameras anymore. However they are stuck with the name.

We only deal with Digital cameras here.
(and the occasional old film pro camera)

digital is the death of music.
real musicians use 2" analog reel and do it on the first (or 2nd take).
digital recordings only harbor bad musicians.

as for pictures, film is the only way to go.
digital is for amateurs.

as for whats on my desk?
i half eaten jar of planters nuts, a bottle of hot sauce, a bottle of tropicana sugar free lemonade (maybe an 1/8" left of it), a warm can of fresca, a pos ipod, and the set list for my appearance at the DSP on 9/15 at the Cup in Linden (self whoring plug i could not resist).

The irony is that so many of the die hard film photogs are scanning their negatives to do touch ups in photoshop anyway. Why bother with the film when you can use post processing methods that will give you a very very very similar out come.

Film will never be dead though, its just a fact of life, same reason people still buy vinyl. Film diehards will always be film diehards.

But from a business standpoint, digital is where its at. I had a job the other weekend where I shot 350ish images off, the equivalent of 15 rolls of film.

A guy I used to work with had so much shit on his desk it was insanity. These things included a pickle jar filled with business cards of othre people, an abacus, and a how to speak spanish book.

oh, i know digital is where its at. but my wife did photography in college and i saw some of the crazy shit she did with color testing, shading, etc.
