Could be somethin', could be nothin', but here is your paranoid jolt of the day...
Here is the story from the School Transportation Website:
Numerous Law Enforcement Agencies Collaborate Within Texas on Related Issues, Including Homeland Security (http://www.stnonline.com/stn/top_stories/Houston_Stolen_Buses082907.htm)
Calls it "suspicious but unrelated". No mention of how many.
But this report, School bus thefts raise security concerns (http://www.khou.com/topstories/stories/khou070827_tj_buses.781ef2b7.html), has a little more detail.
Seventeen large, yellow school buses were stolen recently from various charter schools, business schools and private bus companies.
Published reports in 2004 said that the U.S. military found information in Iraq pertaining to U.S. schools.
Reportedly, there have been hundreds of thefts of school bus radios in the United States.
There is no offical source on the school bus radios, although a google search does have a few articles of such a thing happening.
Have a nice weekend!
