I lost my credit card virginity today. After 28 years i decided i should maybe build some credit so i got a visa a few months ago. Suckers gave me a 5,500 dollar limit. I bought two pairs of shoes and spent 22 dollars on pants at a thrift store. It's weird to buy stuff and not see any actual money leave my hand or have to subtract it from my bank balance (yeah, i use a debit card, fuck you). I know i will eventually pay for the stuff, but it feels free right now. I see how people can get all fucked up with these things.
In closing, i would like to thank Ronny B. for berating Dave about being an irresponsible asshole, as that tirade inspired me to secure this new "get everything you want for free, until later card." Thanks Ron, you're the best.

it depends on the amount of cash i have (do i have the cash to cover the sale?) and the purchase cost (generally above $20 i prefer to use the debit card). i've never had to wait any length of time using the card, which is why i was saying it was their machinery.
