Say you were given the chance to become an expert in one subject, what would it be?
And by expert, you will have every bit of knowledge available to man in that subject when you choose that subject. For example, if you were to say "doctory" you wouldn't be able to cure cancer but you would know everything about cancer and cancer drugs. You would be able to use your knowledge to try and cure cancer though.
And the choice of knowledge cannot be too general, it needs to be somewhat specific. You can't say "World History" but you can say "World War II." So what would you like to be known as the World's Foremost Expert In?

My first instinct is to say Poker but the more I think about it the more I want to be an expert on expertise

I'd like a be an expert on movies. Knowing actors, movies. And hey, why not, the whole process of making films, writing scripts, special effects, and directing.
Maybe that'd go under the lines of being a film historian.

I like the topic
I'd say food in general. If you knew everything about food, you could be a chef or a critic - both cool jobs. You could impress people with knowledge of cuisine. And cooking for a woman usually gives you a few points.

I had this discussion with my girlfriend. We were watching some show on one of the smart kids channels, and they were talking about KEY LIME PIE, and there was a KEY LIME PIE EXPERT. Another channel, had a lady that was an expert in ANCIENT EGYPTIAN HAIR AND WIGS.
So essentially the possibilities are endless.
I think I would go with Mid 1900's Photography/Photographers. The more specialized you are, the more likely you are to be the go to guy when they do documentaries, etc.
