My buddy gave me The End of Heartache about 2 years ago and I never listened to it. It just sat in the glovebox of my car. About 3 months ago, I heard My Curse on the radio and remembered the cd, so I dug it out.
These guys are awesome. I now have As Daylight Dies, which is just a great album and even includes a rendition of Holy Diver which is great because its one of my favorite old rock songs and my wife fucking hates it. So now I get to annoy her with a new version of it, and that makes me very happy.
At the beginning of the summer, I took a long overdue turn in my liking of music. I basically went from listening to Squizz to listening to Liquid Metal. I got all of Slayer's music, Lamb of God (I think Guitar Hero 2 might have actually got me into LoG), A Bullet For My Valentine and a bunch of other stuff (including Don the Reader, Snow's favorite band). I also saw Slayer in concert, and they were awesome.
But Killswitch Engage is really standing out in my new to me music library. Great fucking stuff.
