wisdom teeth out

i got my wisdom teeth out this morning and right now im sippin on a milk shake :clap:


I got it done in a surgical center under general anaesthesia beacuse the first time I attempted to undergo the procedure I didnt make it past the IV part ,,,,,, (if you know what i mean)

anyway, this time around they applied a cream to my arm before they put in the iv and you dont even feel it going on. Then the anesthesiologist tells me he's added a little something to make me relax, and next thing I know im in the recovery room with a nurse.

Im pretty sure (I hope) the IV stuff has worn off, because I haven't taken anything for pain and I feel a lot of irritation but nothing I haven't felt before.

I had been dealing with gauze and ice packs so far, which is probably the worst part, but I got sick of the ice pack and I took the gauze out to drink about 15 minutes ago and I haven't had any bleeding yet.

So now we wait and see if I got dealt a lucky hand or its the calm before the storm

I just had mine out three weeks ago. I'm a pussy too since I had them out under general anesthesia.

I was fine afterwards, but the key is to use the icepacks for the first day or two. My doc said most people stop after a few hours since they feel okay and aren't swelling. And then swell up bad. I used them for about 24 hours and had almost no swelling.

After a few days, I was able start eating regular foods again, although the gum area still feels a little weird.

i had mine out a few years ago and it was so fun that i was completely unsure why people complained about it. i guess i just got lucky. but they got me high as fuck before taking out the teeth and i had no pain afterwards. I had all four out and 3 were impacted.

I got some percosets when that savage talked me into root planing, or whatever it's called.
I only had part of 1 quadrent done. FUcking useless. My numbers weren't that high.

Anyway, I took 1. It sucked, I sold the rest to a work related friend.
