Black Earl is always hearing it from ESD that he is not a good Executive Producer. It is obvious that Dave wants Earl out and he to assume that role. I would love to hear/see an Executive Producer Skills competition between the two of them. Dave wins and he gets Executive Producer role and Earl works under him. Earl wins and Dave is no longer allowed to ever verbally bash Earl, must bring Earl lunch everday for a month and can never question Earl's authority (he becomes Earl's slave).

Problem is that since I am not in the business of radio, I have no clue what the actual events should be. They should cover variety of aspects essential to an Executive Producer position. Some are speed, leadership, and creativity. Any ideas as to what events they could battle at?

The only way Earl wins is if its some kind of picture hanging competition.

I took this video a few months ago. Was hoping they were leading up to a competition.

That's cool and funny but it doesn't have to do with being the Executive Producer. I guess an ok example would be in movie Old School where they had the collegiate skills competition in the end to stay on campus?? Would have to be events that actually had to do with the job of Top dog Producer.

it's not fucked up, the original quote cut out part of the quote (most likely a bracket).

and, they had a contest a ways back pulling songs out of the dilette. earl destroyed dave.

NICE!!! That's what I'm writing about!! I'd love to see Earl run the table with some shit. Making those flunky's dangle.

As a relative newby to R&F (since the first XM show) I've made it my mission to go back in time and catch up. Lately I've been listening to 2002 shows and can't help but notice the similaritys between the Earl issues and the old Al Duke issues, as in entire breaks built around how his employees don't respect him, even having all the interns give a number score between 1 and 5, Dukes ended up with about a 1.3. Joe Poo use to desroy Al much like Dave goes after Earl, but Poo kept his temper in check The big difference that I see is that others are eventually beaten down and then removed themselves. The only thing I see disloging Earl is a direct N-bomb, and then we'd have to deal with ole Buckwheat hair himself. Please don't confuse what I'm saying, I don't believe this is some repeating bit or planned. I believe its spontanious, and I know its as funny now as ever what with the different personalitys, I guess I'm saying the more things change the more they stay the same, I just know that hillarity will insue.

it's obvious that earl has the same expectations as O&A's executive producer, but with less staff.

it's also obvious that dave takes every chance he gets to pile on earl.

I just wish Earl would stop all the lying, it's just weird...the screaming too....it's like earl is either cool or absolutely pissed.
