Why would you shut off Sig Pictures?

I can see why you would on say WACKBAG where it seems the point of posting there is to show off your sig picture and how racist mysoginistic and rude you can be but here most are pretty clever and small and unobtrusive I find alot of them pretty creative

I think he's confusing sig pics with Avatars. I think a mod-quotted avatar shows up even when you have everything turned off.

It could be old threads too, but I see modquote avatars and I have everything turned off.

Some of us are at work and they may frown on even some of the pg-rated sigs. plus it's a lot easier to make it look like you're working even while you're reading the board.

Again, it's not an affront to you, Fallon, or anyone else who designed sigpics. My cube doesn't offer any protection against prying eyes, and I'd rather have everything turned off while I'm working than have one of Reefy's sigs pop up.

These were new threads I was viewing, its not in every post though, onyl some of them, and in those same posts, if you quote it, you see the html tag for the image in there.

I turn off sig pics because I dont need to see them 100000000 times. If its cool, it was cool the first time I saw it, if it was funny, it was funny then, but I dont need to see it 100000 times. Dont take it personally, its just a picture with your name on it. Also, for the same reason above, I never know when someone is coming around the corner, so its better to just keep them on the downlow.

I just turned signatures under my options and I no longer see signatures. It is amazing.
