How high up the food chain would you go to eat a meat 3 times tastier that bacon?

I was reading yet another bacon fanclub rf.net thread (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=63379) and got to pondering.

Scenario: A meat gets discovered in a bacon research laboratory on the great plains of Wisconsin that was exactly 3 times as tasty as bacon but a third as unhealthy, with the catch that it comes from a previously unconsumed animal.

How close on the food chain would we go to mass produce and eat this..? ie: Would we if it came from a cat, dog, gorilla, panda, woman, bald eagle, elephant, dolphin etc.. Remember before you answer, this is like bacon but 3 times better in every way.

or if 3 is not high enough, list how many times better it would have to be to eat that animal. ie: cat 2:1 or say gorilla 6:1 on the baco-multiplier scale.

Anything short of a human is fair game. I'm sure most people are disgusted by the thought of eating a cat or dog, but what makes them so different from cows, deer, bison, pigs, chickens, etc. other than we are stupid enough to let them live in our homes?

I doubt it would be dog or cat. Dolphin is more likely. I think I would eat a dolphin. I guess as far as health is concerned, I do not avoid bacon because it is bad for me, I avoud it because it's taste is something I have kind of outgrown, but when I get a whiff of ot on a Sunday morning, I want it.
I tried turkey bacon and it sucks. If I am eating bacon, I would rather eat real bacon.

It would have to be a high ratio for a baby, i'd say 7:1, 8:1 for a male baby. But the thing is if there was a taste 7 times tastier than bacon it would defiantly cause a seizure. That being said it think I would still try it once, and it would have to be a big enough piece to jam in my mouth so that I don't bit my tongue off during the seizure.

usually, there's a point where you don't care what the item is, if it's that's good, hey, keep eating it. I know, I run the risk of possibly eating cat at a chinese buffet and I love cats. But, if it's good, it's good.

Pigs are actually very smart. Smarter than dogs or cats. And we've all probably ate dolphin, and they're even smarter than pigs.
