I got offered a job for a political advocacy group called "clean water action"

i start tomorrow and can't sleep

I googled them and wasn't able to find any glaring proof of mis action or so forth but it just doesn't seem like they could be completely what they claim.

The job entails going door to door and trying to sign people up for rallys and donations

They promise the ability to make an okay wage while fighting for the environment

it seems like a scam/and door to door is so ugly

or are those just things im telling myself because I'm worried about a new job/people?

BTW... It's been a long time, but from what I can remember, my friends complained about the practices of CWA. They dropped them off from a van, and wouldn't give them a ride home, when they didn't put in what they thought was a "good day's work". That might have just been bad management, though.

I looked into something like that once as a summer job, and there was no guaranteed pay. It was very pyramid-like.
