Commercials giving everything away

ok, we know trailers do this. i'm watching Law and order and there's a commercial for crossing jrodan the Jill Hennesy ME show and it starts like this "Jill Hennesy and Chris Noth are back together again in passon investigating a crime with no suspects about a killer called The Digger who buries his victims alive." So far so good. And then the retarded announcer tells the twist "But is he really the man she thinks he is." And shows her buried alive and him digging a grave.

Commercials/trailers do ruin some plots but sometimes they can make you wanting more and maybe paste scenes together to alter the way things occur. I always enjoyed the Batman cliffhangers... same bat time... what about the orginal Survivor editing the final 4 in the intro to confuse people.

Sometimes it stinks the other times it leaves you wanting more.

i am so sick of trailers giving everything away. tell me the plot but don't show all the explosions and twists! i see a scene with a guy holding a gun on someone and then it's like, well he can't die now he's still gotta be in that other scene. that's the why the best trailer ever: SEVEN. It's the coolest thing ever and gives nothing away. kudos
