DOVER, Del. — The RoadLoans.com 200 NASCAR Busch Series race will take its starting command from a wrestling icon.
Ric Flair, former WWE wrestler and former champion will deliver the five most famous words in motorsports – “Gentlemen, start your engines.” As a guest of RoadLoans, a leading direct-to-consumer auto finance company, Flair will be Saturday’s Honorary Starter for the Busch race.
Debuting in 1972, Flair influenced the world of wrestling and brought swagger and charisma to the sport. Flair’s impact on the profession can be compared to that of Michael Jordan to basketball and Babe Ruth to baseball. Still today fans recognize Flair as the “Nature Boy."
