To go along with Ron's insect rant today, I thought I'd share with everyone that I'll be heading out to Six Flags' Fright Fest and show those squirming little insect bastards who's boss.

Fright Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure starts on 10/6. Check your local parks for their schedule. Would anyone else be willing to give this a try, or am I insane? My wife says if I go through with it she may never kiss me again. I say it might be worth it. It's got to be better than a Miracle Whip sammich. Front of the fuckin' line for me baby!

Wheel Of Fright:

http://www.sixflags.com/global/assets/images/thumb/FF_wheel.jpgBuilding off of last year's ultimate challenge where guests had the chance to eat a live Madagascar hissing cockroach and get front-of-the-line access, this year guests will have the opportunity to go beyond the roach and sample other insects and gruesome treats on Six Flags' Wheel of Fright. Guests can spin the wheel for the chance to win front of the line access when the wheel lands on one of six Fright Fest-worthy items that need to be eaten. Wheel of Fright snacks include cockroaches, wax worms, crickets, nightcrawlers, Rocky Mountain oysters and hot hot Habenero peppers!
Coffin Of Fear:

http://www.sixflags.com/global/assets/images/thumb/FF_coffin.jpgSix Flags' Wheel of Fright starts the Halloween season off with a GULP...and if that's not enough to tickle your frightful fancy, this year Six Flags is also introducing the creepy Coffin of Fear. For this element of Fright Fest, the squeamish need not apply. Each participating guest will lie in a coffin which will be filled with meal worms. Guests must remain in the mealwormy coffin for at least one minute in order to receive a prize.

I ate some chocolate covered ants in college to show I could get past our culture's ethno-centrism. Or the professor could have been just fucking with us.

Anyway, I currently eat processed foods like breakfast cereals and tuna fish so I'm doing my share of consuming the li'l fuckers.

I don't give a fuck, I'll try it.

I think I would actually be more ridiculously scared of fright fest than I would of eating insects.
