I gotta say I'm on the side of Fez here, I think Dave should do the 14 days. Mikeyboy did bring up relevant points today that Dave has gone through will his other bets in the past, but when somebody makes a bet of that magnitude then you must follow through. So......do YOU think Dave should serve his time?

My real point wasn't whether Dave should or shouldn't carry through with the bet. I took issue with Earl calling for Dave to be let go for not fulfilling the terms of his bet when Earl clearly didn't keep up his end of the Ron Wood bet.

no, but it certainly helps him in his cause not to follow through. all i was saying was it was a good point.

nothing earl says or does should be relevant, seriously.
the funniest thing on the show is the attitude that Dave seemingly has towards Earl, when they both have their own issues.

Nobody asked Dave to place these bets, he makes statements that I'm guessing 99% of us know are false, and quickly follows these absurd statements up with an equally absurd bet..... but with nothing to gain.

Fuck em I say, and I couldn't imagine two weeks away from your wife putting a relationship in jeopardy, if anything I'd look forward to the reunion afterwards.

How quickly Dave will say that Earl needs help....um....

i was listening to Dave offering up a few grand to get out of the bet. first off it's tough to buy into this and to think anyone would be that (forgive me) stupid but maybe I'm giving Dave too much credit.

he should have agreed to do it and every couple days meet casey in the early morning hours at a hotel, then head back to wherever they're staying. they could make a game out of it and make it fun. A few nights in a hotel is alot less than giving someone a few grand...

Fuck that fair weather fan! Make him do the 14 plus penalty days.

He should do the 14 days and spend them with Earl as punishment for both failing on their bets.

Yes, Dave should do 14 gays. But I fail to see how that is a punishment.

I agree with MikeyBoy regarding Earl and that Dave should do the days. ESD made a bet and he needs to back it up or his integrity is in question.

I really don't care if Dave does his time or not, really it doesn't change my life in any way. I do however hope all this bullshit ends soon.

I am an everyday average listener to the show. I don't do Bar 9 nights, don't really care who the big name fans are and could care less about Dave, Lily, Casey, and all the other distractions that plague this show week to week.

I listen because I like to Ron's out look on life. I listen to learn about movies, or music I have never heard about. I listen because I like Fez and hope he can one day be really happy.

Ron and fez is turning into Days of our Lives and that kinda sucks.

Please don't flame me, I am fragile.

Bottom line is that Mr. Boy is right, Earl didn't keep up his end of his bargain, why expect Dave to?

The more I listen to the show, the more I become entrapped in the story lines. The more I develop opinions on these people I haven't met.
Then I realize that this is just a soap opera I listen to twice a day and numerous times on weekends... Why get all worked up over this when it's just to entertain me? why expect Dave to carry out this bet when part of the enjoyment was listening to him dig himself in this hole?

To me, Dave, and everyone else, should just let the show be the show... I couldn't hold anything against him, I encourage him to go home to his wife and enjoy her time. Marriages are hard enough to keep alive, nevermind having these little 'disruptions' on the side.

I blame Pitzy's lack of show prep.

The fact that he tried to shorten the bet (with another sucker bet) even after he had lost means he should do the time.

It's anarchy if Dave does not do his time.
Dave should move in with Fezzie and be on cat poo duty.

Dave was on the show today Sunday is the bet on or off or has the bit expired?

a bet has potential for a positive or negative result. dave was being an idiot, and agreed to this nonsense without realizing there was no tangible gain in it for him regardless of how the yankees did. basically he wanted to be right, so he just tossed his wife into the pot like a couple of chips, and didn't notice the pot was empty. in fact no one was playing. hes just a dumbass and got his wife all upset, so now he does have an actual problem to deal with

Ron all but acknowledged that the wedding was them going along with a bit and Im glad Dave has found someone as great as Casey appears to be BUT if he has only known her since say January a two week absense will serve NO good at all for their relationship. It was just a silly radio bit that has gone to far. He already has the ugliest tatoos in the world with uckyboy wackbag and sopranos. Hasn't he suffered for his "art" enough?

I have to say that I have never been asked to live away from my chick for 14 days. i have to say even if I put those days on the line it would really hurt me. I would never want to be apart for that long. I also don't worry about him not going through with the bet because noone on that show does. Dave has paid off many bets, including many lifelong body changing tatoos. Why does everyone want to fuck with this guy and pull two happily married people apart for 14 days. Get over yourselves and stop worrying if he doesn't pay off 1 of 84 bets. He does add to the show positively
