Me and some teacher friends are starting a tutoring service to suppliment our pathetic incomes. I have no idea what to charge. Anyone have any experience with that?

My friend did that for a while and I think he charged $25 a session which was an hour. But he knew people who tutored higher grades or had higher degrees than himself and they charged more.

down here in florida there's a few tutoring services and they usually charge between 25 and 50 an hour depending on what subjects, how many, and age and grade of child

i tutor on the side and I charge between 75 and 100 per hour depending on what I am tutoring. the harder the class, the more I charge. But i tutor highschool math and physics, so it also depends on the subject and the area where you live

I live in the glamorous suburbs of Rockland county. People here have money. I am thinking of charging 80/hour 50/half hour.

go for it, you will get some clients. you are better off having less clients for more money then running around for 25 bucks an hour and dealing with all that shit. once word of mouth spreads, you will be turning people away
