I saw the Jodie Foster movie The Brave One and I loved it!

The start almost seemed rushed but before you knew it you were really understanding the main charachter and even some of the supporting cast's story.

There was one or two back stories they could have brushed up on, but I found myself rooting for Foster left and right. She gave really emotional and powerful performances throughout the movie.

If you like the thought of the scummiest people in society getting their come-uppance then this movie is for you!

Anyone else see this flick?

That line in the previews always cracks me up.

On face value, I liked it but.... it felt rather dated to me.

They really SHOULD have set the movie in the past. The whole; every-time-I-leave-my-house-I-get-mugged-or-beaten thing didn't really feel like present-day NYC. I don't know if it was ever really like that in the 70ies or 80ies but, it sure ain't like that now.
