Hey everyone,
I'm planning a trip to New York at the end of Rocktober and was wondering if it's possible to view the Ron and Fez show.
I know Opie and Anthony, in the old studio at least, would bring some of the people from the walkover up to watch, and I'm wondering if Ron and Fez do the same thing (Just let people in to watch) and don't advertise it as much?
Or do you have to be someone they already know?
Thanks everyone for any information. I've also got tickets for Conan O'Brien but it'd be a dream come true if I could see Ron and Fez.

They let people in. I went over there once over a year ago and they let me in to watch and to meet the boys. Of course, I did have gifts (the graphic novel 300 for Ron, and the DC Encyclopedia for Fez), but I think they'll let you in.
You may have to kiss ESD though. It looks like he's into manlove lately.

I don't know, can you catch red-head from kissing?

Ew.
Also, I guess my question is what is the procedure for it? Just show up? Will they let me in the building?

You have to last three minutes against Master Po. If you do, you're in.

Unless they've changed, Ron and Fez have always had an open door policy when it came to listeners stopping by.

Maybe Earl can help you out.
oh and when youre back in atlanta, check out the Giant Show on project 961.

sorry, had to.
Was there ever a night when Ron and Fez were alone on WJFK?
There was always someone in there with them.

I think the doorman will want to see id, and ask you to sign a book. He'll then direct you to the XM Studios. When you get there, Po will be behind some glass to check you in.
I agree with others, it may make sense to e-mail Ron and Earl ahead of time.

No they hated it there they wanted as much company as the studio could hold. As you probably already figured out, DC was the down fall of our poor Fezzie.

This is the first time I have had any information on that show. I would listen, but I haven't listened to regular radio since I got my XM (For Ron and Fez). I got the fancy HD radio and everything yet I don't use it. Then, one day, my radio antenna fell off my car and I haven't even bothered to replace it.
To everyone else, thanks for all the replies. I'm willing to say this will be the sweetest New York trip in existence.
Edit: Also, I've e-mailed ronandfez -at- aol -dot- com so I think I'll wait a couple of days for a response there before I hassle Earl as well.

I just got a response from Pitzy and it looks like I'm good to go. I'm extremely excited, can't wait.
If anyone is curious about the same thing in the future, it does look like a good idea to e-mail ahead of time.

My wife and I are headed back to Manhattan for a weekend at the very end of October. We're going to hit some of our old haunts and try some new places like Bobby Flay's Bar Americain and Mario Batale's Del Posto.
My wife has an appointment on 57th street on the Friday we're headed there, so I'm thinking of heading in to see the boys. Looks like I'll e-mail Pitzy/Earl and let them know.

If and when you want to vist the Ron and Fez show it's always a good idea to try and reach Earl, Dave or Pitz via email a week in advance. Also bring some form of identification to present too Master Po when you arrive, and a lil anal lube cuz he sure gets in that ass. It isn't hard and its usually done because there might be a guest on that day Be easy and enjoy your vist.

First off, thanks Ron and Fez show for having me in! It was great!
If anyone else is interested in showing up, here's the procedure as I've now been through it:
- Send an e-mail to the show letting them know you're coming in (And making sure it's ok)
- On the day of the show, show up and sign in at the front desk. You'll just have to go up to the fifth floor.
- Importantly, and Pitzy failed to mention this to me unfortunately, show up around 1-ish so Ron and Fez have some time to get the show started before you're sitting on those bleachers.

Are there actually places to sit outside and watch the show. Were there others watching at the same time? I want to do it but I don't want to feel akward there.

There are bleachers set up in the new studio. Honestly you can't see much but I enjoyed the experience nonetheless.
There was me and my gf, and then a couple of others showed up. I'm not sure if this is a common thing with them, I actually don't think it is and wasn't expecting other people. I didn't feel awkward at all though, I was just there to see a show that I loved.

the bleachers were very cool, a great view, I was lucky enough to sit on the couches behind the Console. And Have a Mic. Not that I brought anything to the table except for some fart jokes.
if you come into the Studio, bring Lunch and remember 2 things
1. Drinks are part of the Meal
2. Dessert is part of the meal

It was fantastic to head into the studio and meet one of my idols, ronnie b.
Plus, I got to taste some of Earl's mom's pussy pie!
And it tasted just like the real thing.

Obviously I'm not really known on the boards. You have more posts than me!
They'll ask you for your board name but it's not really a big deal if you don't have one (Though obviously you do). I told Pitzy I only had like 50 posts but he said it didn't matter.
