All of Milo Goes to College is pretty solid if you ask me, but if I had to pick one, I'd probably go with "Bikeage." Also, even though it sounds absolutely nothing like The Descendents, I love "Ride the Wild."

I have to agree that everything off of "milo goes to college" is amazing, Everything Sux is actually a very solid album for a newer cd.
I never considered the descendents Hardcore... it doesnt matter though because they fucking rule
If I have to pick songs.... myage, bikeage, clean sheets, coolidge, get the time, hope

The thread title drew me right in. Unfortunately I never knew much about the Descendents, even though I heard alot about them. Have you ever seen "American Hardcore"? It's a documentary that brought back some memories for me. Even though they left out some seminal bands, it was cool to watch.
"Rise Above!"

I bought it the day it came out it was killer but you are correct it left out alot about the era of punk/hardcore.

Minor Threat was quite possibly the best hardcore band ever...Unless you want to look at the Bad Brains or Rites of Spring (I know, all D.C. bands, I'm hopelessly biased). Early Black Flag with Dukowski on bass is killer "Nervous Breakdown", yeah.

nervous breakdown does indeed rule... when i was like 14 i was into vinyl and i got a nice clear blue version of breakdown.
Dont think it's worth anything but I always loved that record.
