I was in Rome from Monday until today, and I took the Eurostar to Florence this afternoon, and this is the view out my window:

It's the Duomo. I've never been to Florence before, and I already want to move here. It's incredibly beautiful.

I went to Rome and Florence when I was in the 7th grade with my Latin class. One of my fondest memories of Florence was separating myself from the group one day, going into a small cafe, and having the best pasta and clams I'd ever had.

Make sure you go to Restorante Leo. Its a few blocks from the Uffizi.
Best meal I have ever had in my life.
