I don't know enough about her to comment about her record, but u never root/cheer for cancer. Too bad.

Yeah, gotta go with Spoon on this, I'm never happy having an elected official die while in office. She was 57, awfully young in this day and age.
I don't wish death upon anyone and any cancer is a cruel way to go. I hope she is able to Rest In Peace.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen too many dead flies either.

Yes, this congress has had more people die in office than any congress in a 100 years most have been republican...Charlie Norwood, Craig Thomas...

Just a note: I started this thread by saying this is personally sad. Was just noting that the Republicans have been losing members to death and disease at a faster rate than anyone can remember

Its allways sad to hear that someone has died of cance.
But maybe if they spent more on heathcare and research and less on the war we might be a little closer to a cure or at the very least closer to improving the quality of life for people who are sick and and about to pass away.
