I cut up about 2 pounds of jalapeņos to pickle today, and now my hands feel like they are on fire! Does anyone know of relief? I'm willing to try ALMOST anything...:help:

Rub them on your penis. You'll forget all about your hands hurting.

Try a strong solution of water and baking soda. Capasasin is acidic and baking soda is acidic absorbent. That should work.
Or, pour bleach on them and rub them together a while before washing it off. Drink milk.

I also just read this works:

Then a follow up wash 2 or three times of Dawn dishwashing liquid.
This will dissolve the oils from the peppers.

Dishwashing liquid.
It separates and isolates the oils. Then they are rinsed away. Follow with a rinsing with dove soap. Then Jergins moisturizing lotion.
And no handy's for hubby! (Unless you are pissed at him)

See, and I was just gonna say that I was following BoondockSaints advice!
Anyway, after about 10 rounds with dish soap, baking soda, and the GoJo, they are finally starting to feel like hands again. Still a bit tingly, but much more tolerable. Thanks all.
Oh, and any ideas on how to get it out of my eye?

the only cure for jalapeņo hands is to shove one into your box and use the other to manually pleasure your gentleman

OK, well, this thread took an awful turn...I was hoping for some real advice mixed with silly responses, but, well, anyway.
In case anybody actually cares anymore, the GoJo did the job. I washed my hands, arms and face with it and Voila! No more burning. Now I'm gonna go hang elsewhere for a few days. I feel a little icky.

The dishwashing liquid is the easiest to get to - and do several washings.
Follow up with some sort of soothing Aloe hand cream if available.
