THE Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or counter-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning counter-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

This is wild. When I first look at her, she's moving clockwise (right brained), but then she's moving back and forth between counter-clockwise and clockwise. In fact, with a sweeping movement with my eyes, I can see her move her leg back and forth without her ever turning around.

Thats weird, I start off with the picture spinning clockwise. It will however spin counter clockwise at times, usually if I turn my head then focus back on it.

It was clockwise from the getgo. I couldn't get it to turn the other way until I followed the reflection on the floor and I got it to go the other way.

Edit: Okay now it just changed to counterclockwise. I think it has less to do with me than with the image actually changing.

The image does not change on its own.

I'll try and expalin how you can see it change on your own.

Keep your eye on the foot on the leg that is raised.

As it nears the edge of the picture on the left side, turn your head to the right but keep your eye on the foot, therefore your head will be turned to the right but your eyes will be looking left because of your head movement.

Now you should see the foot move back toward the right side and if you do the same thing in reverse, with your head moving left and your eyes looking right as it comes to the edge of the picture, the foot will move back again.

This will give the illusion of the girl moving back and forth, but never turning around.

I think that is the best I can explain it.
