People who touch your monitor..

I hate it when someone touches the glass on my monitor. I end up seeing their greasy finger smudge on my screen all day. What possesses anyone to touch it? I never come in contact with it except to clean it.
How do you keep people from doing it? Does it bother you?

Ha. I actually work with a woman who likes to do that. If I ask for help with something, she'll always point at the monitor and touch it while explaining what to to do. What makes this even worse is that she also likes to put her fingers in her mouth, so she immediately leaves these disgusting spit fingerprints on my monitor. I'm always tempted to say something about it because it's so noticeable when she does it that I'm amazed she doesn't give a polite, "Oh, I'm sorry, let me clean those off." Yeech.

I hate people who touch my monitor almost as much as people who move shit on my desk or take things from my desk when I'm away.

When someone leans over and touches my monitor, I pull out the bottle of screen cleaner I keep in my desk. Usually they get the hint.

I don't think a day goes by that I don't touch my monitor. I think part of having a machine is owning it and being all anal about smudges just takes to much effort for me. I have a great laptop and most days there is finger prints and stuff all over it.

Paper towels and screen cleaner aren't really hard to get so don't sweat it to much.
