I've been listening for months, and have read a bunch of stuff about R&F during their "dotcom days". Did they start on internet only radio?? I can't figure it out from posts or articles about them.

You're as young as you feel. I feel like a baby, I just shit in my pants.

Their original late night show in NY was known as "Ron and Fez dot com". It was very similar to the show they do now, but they did a lot of segments on web sites and had guests related to web sites on. The main differences were :

No Al Dukes (the good ole days)

It was on later so there were many more callers who "had trouble sleeping"

And the intro to the show was "Ron and Fez dot com", instead of the current "Ron and Fez - hey"

It's been a while so I'm sure I'm missing some important points, but that's the basics.

This duck still alive . . . chop, chop.

Nah, that pretty much covered it.

While it was good back in the "dotcom" days, ther problem was, they really weren't computer heads, and they were running out of websites to talk about that were interesting enough to turn into a bit. I think I even heard the guy from emptybowl.com on there as a guest twice in one month, and it wasn't a repeat. So since that was getting old, and the timeslot changed to midday where less people with "sleeping problems" were listening, a format closer to an O&A format worked better. And if it works, you run with it. Unless you're Al.
