A 6-year-old Park Slope girl is facing a $300 fine from the city for doing what city kids have been doing for decades: drawing a pretty picture with common sidewalk chalk. (http://www.brooklynpaper.com/stories/30/40/30_40graffitigirl.html)'

This is how it starts, first they start fining people who draw little pictures with chalk on the sidewalk and in a few years these same innocent children will be nerve stapled and sent to rehab.

Sidewalk chalk is a public display of your individual creativity.

We can't have any of that. Toe the line and produce, there is no time for free thinking. Teach them that young enough to avoid any questioning as an adult.

This is one of those bullshit stories that Drudge and the New York Post like to hype. The deal is that a neighbor complained and the city sent out a computer generated letter. No real person from the city ever went to the property and the notion of a fine was never really an issue. what an uptight fucking asshole this neighbor must be.
