I was #1 ranked in the world for two years.
And #1 ranked in Ms. Pacman for one year.

Do they call her "Essman" because it is less offensive that her real last name, "Shitman?"

Lilly, is it true what Earl said today, that the Muslims believe "Bop-bop-bop?"

Sure. I think Gallagher is ripe for an unmasking.

From a RF listener perspective and former fan of CYE, a couple of burning questions that I hope Mr B asks Susie:

1) Is it true that her character is based on LD's soon to be ex wife, Laura.

2) If she could sell some of those NFL glitter jerseys that she was hawking out of her trunk on e-bay? Those were priceless.

3) What the fuck happened to the show this season?

4) Why does it seem totally contrived and forced this season?

5) Does she think CYE has jumped the shark?

6) Did Larry lose his muse and direction when he and his wife split?

Come on Mr B., show some stones and ask these tough questions. Haaaank Heeeeyoooo

Susie Essman makes me laugh every week.

I'm not sure this season is any more contrived than any other season...remember the "12 Angel Food Cakes" episode? One of my all time favorites, but contrived as hell (but brilliant, so there you go. Why hasn't Cheri Oteri done anything since?). I love Leon, and messing with Ted and Mary makes me laugh. I don't know, maybe I'm just too easily impressed but I thought this season has been as good as any other (Jeff Garlin protesting "It's no big deal" to confessing he rubbed one off on Larry's bedsheet was priceless).

I wasn't a huge fan of the whole "Larry does 'The Producers'" season, with the exception of the last minute of the last episode which made it all worth it.

I will say the sign language stuff from last episode was sort of dopey...who would actually get mad about stuff like that? And insist that someone come over to apologize? If that's what you're talking about, I at least agree on that point. It was cool to see Tim Meadows on the show, though.

So using your line of reasoning, we should not expect any curb your enthusiasm related questoins, despite the fact that 99 per cent of the people know her only as jeff's wife? what are they gonna talk about for an hour? her stand up routine?

It started with the premise on episode1 this season that LD would actually allow a New Orleans family to take over his pristine home, and in that show allow the mom to put a cigarrette out on the table. I just could not suspend that much belief. The old Larry would have thrown them out toot sweet. From there, it just got worse. LD and Jeff laughing about freaks in a freak book during a party. Not just behaving badly, we all expect that, but behaving like a couple of retards? Didn't buy it.
I guess I just harken back to the days when the show had a real edge. The halloween episode for example, where LD retaliates by hiring an orchestra to play Wagner on the front lawn of that jerk and the whole "trick" premise explanation with the bald cop. That was brilliant. Now we get Larry pretending to get mad because his cemetary plot is next to Susies? I dunno. He is way off his game. I just expect a lot more from this creative guy. Maybe with the emergence of Californication and Dexter on Showtime, and
"Extras" on HBO, I've just been spoiled. I guess this is about to be switched to the entertainment category,
but I do help RB puts SE to the test. Even she has not had the opportunity to rip LD a new one for any real good reason except the flowers in the handbag, and even that was too contrived in my humble opinion. I must admit all that verbal abuse gets me going, in some weird way..

i thought it would be obvious this was the question i was referring to. you're asking aboot larry's marriage and what's going on inside larry's head.

you again?!?!

Das right, me again, JACK! (oh yeah, tough guy, using JACK!, who are you trying to kid?... and what's with das? are you trying to say "that's" like a black ghetto toughie? please. your idea of acting tough is wearing your Washington Nationals cap worn jauntily a little off center with the brim just a tad to the right, you loser...and instead of saying "yes" you say "word", oh! somebody call the police! then you say suspend belief when it should be disbelief, not that 90 per cent of these inbread readers even realize, but you don't even proofread your own posts you lazy piece of shit. everybody who's been around this sight may remember a little about you. just be polite and address everybody with sir or maam, and no more homo references to marc w ith a c having a crush on that saved by the bell puerto rican guy with the headband). So get ready for some more brilliant insights and spot on observations when the spirit moves me, JACK!...sir

well, I can't argue with anything you said here...I may be just too easy to please. The halloween episode was genius. Although who would get the Wagner reference from the two notes he whistled? Ha, I used to PLAY that piece and I didn't get it right away. :-)

i saw susie essman on bravo where she watched two comedians spouses compete doing stand up at carolines. joyce bahar from the view was one of the judges. i think that she is essmans clase personal friend. essman seemed to have a pretty good idea of what she thought comedy was. i dont agree with it, but she was very forceful about her point of view.
