I bought the Daily News last Sunday for the first time in a while and when I was looking through the TV book I noticed that they were still putting the VCR Plus+ codes in there. Does anyone really still use this?

I don't think anyone ever did. There was even cable boxes you could hook up to your vhs player before it was built in.

I had one and hated it. You couldn't pad extra time, so a lot of shows would cut the end off.

I'm shocked that people still use VCR's enough to warrant codes in TV listings.

Wow, VCR Plus, I haven't heard those words used together in probably ten years. I had a VCR that was supposed to support it, but I never could get it to work. I don't have DVR, and I still haven't recorded anything on a VCR in close to a decade.

i could never get mine to work back in the day either. but i love love love my dvr.

VCR+ blew. It was so much faster to manually set my VCR then to look up the stupid codes.

I haven't bought TV Guide or used a VCR in years.

Since I got my Tivo I cannot believe I held out so long with my vcr.

I had a vcr with Vcr Plus+. Never used it once.
