I just got into Sunnyside on Friday. It rocks!

I grew up drinking in Sunnyside waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when I was 16yrs old.

Lotta cool bars to go to.

Speaking of cool bars to go to in Sunnyside, you should check out a place called the Breffni on 40st and Queens Blvd. I bartend there.

I concur. I drive to woodside, park, drink, and catch the 7 train before mets games to avoid the Shea traffic. Saints and Sinners is my spot.

along queens blvd it fairly residential ... closer to the LIE, it's a bit industrial

if you're a smoker, there's a few bars in the neighborhood that'll allow you to puff while you drink

I'm pranking in this thread a little. I was on the road and posting pics from my stops along the way, and I'm actually back home in Sunnyside. I've lived here for 13 years.

Nice to know there are some buddies in the 'hood, though. We should have a RF.net Sunnyside outing over at Breffni.

And smokers, Sunnyside bars kinda let you smoke after 11. It's all the Irish folk with their smoking and drinking. My hangout is Mickey John's on Skillman.

Was gonna move there Pre Marriage

Woodside to be exact.

My Fav Boros

1. Manhattan
2. Brooklyn
3. Queens
4. Staten Island (yick my home)
5. The Bronx (sorry , would have beat SI, but I was mugged in the Bronx)

:king:

queens all the way (really just astoria, lic and rockaway)
brookyn (northside to sunset park)
manahattan (anywhere outside of midtown east)
bronx (treamont and the stadium)
staten island (i got nothing, even their yankee stadium is a dump)

Soon as I get more of a set schedule and find out if my friends gonna be DJ'ing there I plan to talk to Jon about that very thing.
