I would love to get a pair of "Video Glasses" that can be used with DVD player, computer, etc. but they are still really expensive and all the bugs aren't worked out yet. That 181" screen (equivalent) is tempting though.

Why would they get in trouble for serving Kangaroo? It's actually a good quality meat and served in restaurants all the time.

It was more PR than anything, like adidas got in trouble making soccer shoes out of roo leather. I don't know why meat-eaters get upset over what you get served. It's alllllll meat, even if it's doggie-licious!

i commute from the north, north bronx to soho and it's like 1:15 to hour and-a-half each way. i can't imagine a longer commute, distance-wise unless you move out of the 5 boroughs. my commute is easily double that of anyone i work with. half-hour to 45 minutes sounds about right.

I am having a brisket sandwich with provolone and lettuce and jackson sauce on french bread. I cooked the brisket all night at 250. Used a dry rub and cooked it fat side up so that all the fat cooked down, thats the trick. The sauce is kindof a sweet vinagerette. the Sandwich is the best

Score: 3.7( can't be a 4.0, that would be bragging since I did all the work)

Depends on the day and the cut of meat. If I'm doing pulled pork I usually just use a big pork shoulder with a dry rub and I mop it at the end (smoked using hickory usually). It also depends on how late I start the smoker. If it's late and I'm tired I'll just skip the mopping.

The smoker I have is a cheap one made by some Canadian company and it's single stage.

I think the mop keeps you busy,But I don't think it adds much flavor.Plus opening the lid all the time reduces the the temperature.
That's why I just mop it at the end of the smoking process. I do open mine occasionally to refill the chip box though. I've always heard that really only the first hour of smoke is all that's needed, but I like to see it smoking almost the entire time :) Mine gets back up to temp pretty quickly assuming I don't leave the door open for too long.

Yep, this old man told me once that if you " don't got smoke, got no flavar" We were at the hunting club in south Alabama, really deep south. Really cool guy just had to listen real hard to what he was saying, but whatever he said was right on .
