Sam Adam's Octoberfest...now that is some damn good beer. But at my local watering hole they have a night where is a 2 dollar import night, where I drink Corona's too my hearts content. Which leads to a lot of peeing through the night...

Anyone been to Mexico?? And when there anyone get a Corona there?? They serve the Coronas there warm...is a bit wierd. Give you a cold mug with it...at least that is what I got when I was in Cancun.

I drink Amstel Light...why?? well in my opinion it is a good beer. I enjoy it. However it isn't my favorite beer...that would be Killian's Red. So is your question do we drink it or do we prefer it over regular beer?? I would rather drink Killians on draft over the Amstel Light..if that is the question

I dont drink light beer at all but i have drank amstel light and it's the only acceptable one. I'm mainly a heineken man, besides that I'lll drink dos equis and corona

I usually drink light beer..Amstel or Bud, preferably Amstel....only because it's not as filling as regular beer. But occasionally if I'm in the mood for beer beer I'll only drink Bass Ale.

I don't drink beer much, preferring shots & anything with tequila in it, but when I do drink beer, I at least want the alcohol content & light beer has as much alcohol as pee-pee. Heineken, Red Stripe & Corona for me, even though you don't care.

If you're going to drink a light beer, Amstel is very good. How about dark beer or stouts? Any Stout drinkers? I really like Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout.

my top beer preferences are amstel light, michelob light and killians. never really thought about or cared why i prefer light beer. But i'm easy to please, if somebody buys me a beer, who am i to say no? i'll enjoy that sam adams just as much as i would the light beer.

Okay, so what I'm getting is that lite beer is 'less filling' and that's why most people drink it? As in so you can drink more but not get drunk? I guess that makes sense in a social context...

But then here's my next question: What makes lite beer 'less filling'? Because it has a lighter body? I mean, water is filling if you drink enough of it, I guess?

Too Cute, look at it this way... if you are drinking for the sole purpose of getting fucked up, your not going to waste your money on good beer cause your not going to enjoy it.

for example, if I was going to go play quarters, I am not going to drink Sam Adams... I love SAM ADAMS... I want to savor every last drop!!!

Natty Lite, Beast, whatever... when your throw a party with a hudred people, and everyone is there to get fucked up, playing drinking games, funneling, etc... cheap lite beer is the way to go

I drink coors light only because its very watery and therefore I can drink more of it, but beer in general to me is very filling. Thats why I have such a hard time getting drunk from it. I get full before I get drunk.

I can understand you just want to be drinking beer so you drink 'light' beer so you can well be drinking it and 'not get full' though I still don't quite get that concept, but I definitely don't get it if people are drinking 'light' beer and their goal is to get drunk...

it really doesnt take much to get me drunk. and although i think i've outgrown the stage where you drink and drink and drink to the point where you can barely function anymore and just act like an idiot, i still like a good buzz. the thing is i cant be at a bar without a beer in my hand. when i drink light beer, i can usually last more into the night and not get as stupid

now, i'd rather just smoke a doobie instead of drink, because i dont get so bloated and i dont get hung over.

I was in a really nice restaurant about a month ago, and they actually had a "Beer List" (no, not 300 beers like at some places, just good ones) so I ordered a "good" beer that I never heard of, it tasted like ink, and cost $35. I got my nickle back for the bottle though....
