My uncle spent tons of time embedded with the troops during the beginnings of the Iraq war.

I'm a history channel freak the way it is, and now we have a link to a doc on it...pretty cool. Like someone else said, it's too early to Tivo/DVR it right now so someone please bump this a few days from now. I'll be in Aruba during it's first airing but I'd love to check it out. If he yells out spoon when he saves a little kid that would rule. Ok I know, bad tick ref!

My brother was a photo-journalist for The Washington Post for a brief time so I have alittle familiarity with the community of that occupation, I also met David Bloom at a journalists function in DC, and to have your cousin be his camera man and to have him die in his arms is fantastic and moving. You should be proud of your cousin to have the courage to document first hand, the events of a war. His footage,.. (more importantly noted because there are of events specifically photographed at the onset of the war) will be shown as archives of american history forever.

Dunno if I learned anything new,
but I certainly commend EVERYONE who goes into harms way,
whether it be to stop it, or film it so that others can see the travesty of war.
