Lost and confused...

Honestly, I feel like im through trying to find any sort of relationship. Call it giving up or whatever else you want to, but I just feel so ANGRY and BITTER right now about everything that I just can't help feeling this way.


Its just that at some point, it gets so tiring to do everything that youre supposed to do, and it seems like nothing works. I'm a good guy, I don't drink or treat people like crap, and im kind and considerate and hard working. I don't understand how i could supposedly embody all these qualities women "look for" in a man, but still nothing ever seems to work out. How could I be everything and nothing all at the same time?


I know i'm only 24, but I just can't help but feel that i'm never going to get out of this rut, and i'm never going to find anyone that feels the same way about me that I feel about them. Is that a pretty strong statement to make? Yeah it is, but based on my experiences, its how I genuinely feel at the moment.

People keep telling me "there's a girl out there for you" and "you'll find someone some day" but I just don't believe that any more....I honestly don't.

But... to be serious... El Mudo, you're 24... you really don't have to worry about settling down now. Maybe that's the way it is where you come from, but if you look outside what you expected where to be, you'll see there is a lot more where you can go.

If you keep looking at the world like this, there will NEVER be a girl out there for you.

Times are tough but you are 24-----C'mon!!!!!!

Look at in military terms: While you are out with friends, get all loaded up and wait for a woman to come into your 'No-Fly-Zone.' If she enters, take her down. That way, even if you don't meet Miss Right; you're still getting laid and having fun.
If that doesn't work, look at it in baseball terms: If a Major Leaguer is in a hitting drought, he goes out 'Slump Busting.' That means, he'll take any hog he comes in contact with while on the road traveling around from city to city and fuck his way through it. It works every time. Over time you will settle down and yes, the right girl will come along, or maybe she won't, or maybe you might be gay---who the fuck knows? who the fuck cares? The point is to enjoy being 24 as much as you can. Go have yourself some fun.
