Hey all!
I've been a lurker here for years, but now I am lookin for some help:

I'm from MA and I want to take a trip down to Brooklyn for Kaiju Big Battel. The event is at The Warsaw at 261 Driggs. Ave Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I just was lookin for some info about what the area's like and if there's a hotel/motel close to there.

If anyone can help with info (also, maybe a nice restaurant) that would be so awesome!

Thanks!
Sean

Take the L train in, it leaves from manhattan along 14th street
take it to the bedford ave stop, the first stop thats not manhattan
That area is nice for food
if you like Thai there is a place called SEA on north 6 th
then when you are ready to go to the show just walk up Driggs
there is a cool bar called enid's that is kinda low key
but they allow dogs and they have a table top version of ms pac man/galaga
on the corner of driggs and manhattan ave

That's a great map! Thanks!

I'll be driving in and I hope to drive right into Brooklyn and find parking close to the Warsaw. Do you know if there's parking around there? Last question: are there any little motels/hotels around there?

I once went to see a musician by the name of Donavon Frankenreiter at the Warsaw and it was the hardest place ever for me to find anywhere in the city. Once I got there I thought the place was cool, it's set up a lot like a vacant high school gymnasium. Then it's connected to a nice little bar on the side, I forget how much drinks were because we partied at a bar down the block before the show and if I bought anything at the Warsaw i was hammered so i don't remember. For the show I went to the atmosphere was quite intimate, there couldn't have been more then 150 people at the concert so it was nice. Good luck finding the place man, cause that was def. the hardest part.
