Al and possibly quitting

Al didn't quit but for the past few days they've talked about Al having the thousand yard stare, nearly giving up. today he said that he feels he has less than a month left and it seems disappointing sinece i thought he had more in him but oh well.

i didn't listen to the show tonight but... haven't ya ever had a really bad day at work and said to yourself or others.. thats it I've had it!!! Well think about all the shit he takes day to day... staged or not... some of it must be real... My point being, I don't know him very well but he doesn't seem like the quitting type, he seems stronger than that.

I'm surprise the man is still around, he has no balls to stand up for himself, imagine the abuse if he was on the OnA show. Al just quit and produce a show with monkeys in a small town before producing anything in new york radio

ice, i've defended al and feel for/understand him in ways that disturbs me but he doesn't defend himself. I mean it's pathetic. when the listeners call he just stands there and takes punches until they tire of it. I think if he would engage in verbal tete-a-tete with his abusers he would definitely be raised a couple of notches in the eyes of many.

Dont you see, people? A LOT OF the stuff on the show is NOT staged, but look, it all has you talking, and I am sure you will all be tuned in everyday to see what happens with Al. This is what they want. Al is a smart guy, I didnt like him at the beginnin, but i have gotten to know him and he really means well and knows what he is doing. Look at all the fuss over it! Ratings...now I did not hear the show tonite, but it must have been controversial, or something went down BIG TIME. NOW I am going to listen tommorrow nite, and I am sure all of you will too. i've actually met al and he is pretty cool, i figured i'd hate him but i didn't. but honestly the al dukes thing is getting old, it's pretty much the same jokes with him everytime about being pathetic and gay and stuff. maybe it's time for new blood. either way R and F rule, but i think it's time for a change. no not owen hart, in producers

ikea- in all honesty though... as producer of the show, do really think he has the time or the strengh to engage in verbal battles with the many listeners that call in and bust his balls... mabye he's just above that.

actually, i have met him once. i went to the station to have r&f sign my year book. he made my friend and i wait for at least an hour, but it was all good when ron threw darts at him (though it was more like just above his head)

Al has a backbone of an ant he allows everyone to walk over, if he can't defend himself against joe poo or anyone in the studio. Surival of the fittest and if Al lasts until after christmas he's going to be on the show for awhile longer.
