I grew up on those guys and I thought the world would end when they went off the air... but Armando (Ron) Diaz does a show with Ian Beckles the old Bucs OL from 10:00 am until Jim Rome starts M-F .... The show plain and simple sucks, Diaz knows very little as a sports guy (who needs the perspective of just another sports fan that has 0 pro expierence) and Ian is so stuck on himself and his same 3 bull shit stories about how great he was that it makes for a dull local radio show.

Before he left 1050 am in 1996-1997 Ron B and Fez did try and pair up with some other Ron to save the bit but they never really connected and the show ended shortly after.

I don't think they split on great terms, or id Diaz was just a little fucked between the ears after his wife died of the AIDS, but Mr. Bennington can now be heard around the world on XM as you know, and Armando rots doing a small market local call in sports radio show that he took after his station and project 105.9 fell apart.....

You could say he picked the wrong pony on that one... But he got what he deserved.

I too have been listening for a very long time but I don't remember the story this way......
Also, Diaz/Beckles are very entertaining and the best sports shows focus on the funny and ridiculous angles of sports as well as a host of other oddities. Look at their web-site, its fucking hilarious.
Maybe one day if we are lucky, Ron will explain and that is indeed who; if anyone would be entitled to explain. You are off just a little bit, Hunting_Oblivion. :nono:

The 3rd Ron wasn't really a "Ron" he just simply used the name to fit the show. Flipper is a Ron, so there were actually 4.
