It was interesting on how things were different between the interviews. The O&A interview was focused on the personality and shennanigans (we were high, Devine ate dog shit), while the R&F interview focused on the business angle, indie movies, and related topics.
Interesting to see two sides of John Waters like that.

Isn't mimicking the sign for what you want essentially the same thing as learning the language? That's how most humans learn language.
EDIT: OK, did Mike mean that the chimp might not have had cognitive knowledge of the language? Meaning, it knew what it wanted to say to get what it wanted, but the chimp didn't know the abstract meaning of the word.

I had the pulled pork chili and a fried shrimp sandwich that they call a Moe-Boy (clever huh). It came with two sides , I took the mac and cheese and chips. Dumped the mac, didn't want it. But I did eat most of the chips. Oh, and the sandwich had homemade chow-chow on it which made it good it would have been dry without it.

Wow thanx everyone for the kind words; we all agreed the segment was good; science can get boring real quick if someone [me] goes on too long.
Ron and I were on the couch for the segment; hence no calls. He only touched me once.
Walking in and seeing John Waters ruled. Sadly he was gone right after.
I missed the beginning of the show so I didnt know things were already tense; so seeing Earl lose it for the 354th time was fun, but the look in his eyes at Dave, that is So Not A Bit. We need a squared circle.
Hope I didnt sound like a rambling idiot going all over, or a monopolizer, both of which i can do real good.
Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeya and thanx again
PS: No one loathes Global Warming discussions more then me.

Earl needed correcting
I looked it up to be sure, but I knew Earl was actually right about what he was saying about NC-17 films.
Earl got one right! (http://www.variety.com/index.asp?layout=features2007&content=jump&jump=story&dept=sundance&nav=Nsundance&articleid=VR1117957904)
