I know some people dug their show, but I never really got into it. I listened to their live show a couple of times and it didn't grab me. I even downloaded the compilation CD put together by their fansite so I could hear some of their best stuff but was underwhelmed. That said, I knew they were huge in San Francisco before coming to NY, and I thought they did respectable numbers in NY before being booted in the wake of Imus, so I am surprised that they still haven't gotten picked up on another station by now. It's really a testament to how fucked the "hot talk" format is right now on radio in general. XM and Sirius aren't hiring anyone because of the uncertainty of the merger, and the outlets for this kind of radio are drying up for regular slots for JV & Elvis, the Hideout, etc. It's kind of a shitty time to be doing that format and looking for a job.

I gave their show an honest chance and hated it but they didn't deserve to be fired over that bullshit.

You know what the funny thing is...what they got kicked off the air for was the funniest thing I ever heard them do. They way Elvis was calling & talking to the Chinese man I really never laughed at their show until then. Which I was kinda sad to see them go cause I WAS HOPING THEY WHERE GOING to get better.
