If some folks from here decided not to go, it was probably more likely that it was because there are so many events this month, and people needed to pick and choose which ones to attend. I most likely would have been there last night, but my wife had to go out of town at the last minute, so I had the kids. Glad it was a good time.

Highlight of the night was Art of the Topless kicking off their set with "Street Fighting Man."

Good to see that some bands still know the majesty and might that is the Rolling Stones.

Then the coronation of Ron Bennington took center stage, followed by a rocking rendition of "Mighty Horse." Nice job boys, even if Topless Mike is trying to steal my look. :wink:

The bar was absolutely packed to the hilt, though. So bad that I actually had to walk down the block to another bar to get a drink.

As was stated previously, not a lot of RFnetters, which made me hideously uncomfortable.

PalTalk people (and those from other messageboards) are just plain scary.

Thx! Actually, Topless Mike had me tuned up just fine, but my bass was sitting out by the front of the stage most of the night, and someone most likely bumped into the peg for the D string. That was the only string out, and it was waaaaaaaay out. That's why we had to stop the song and I had to quickly try and fix it. Oh, the drama!! :laugh:

Seriously, thanks for coming out. Truth be told, I was planning on booking an AOTT gig at Bar 9 all summer and put it off. Then, when AF said she wanted to do the Bash and wanted us to play, it just seemed like a great combination - Babyfuck + AOTT + Bar 9. It was! The crowd was great and it kinda sucked to be stuck onstage while everyone else got to have fun. I couldn't even watch with those lights shining in my eyes.

Oh, and HUGE kudos must go to Lilly for all her hard work putting the event together. Without her none of it could have happened. :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
