As I listen to the show these are the facts as I see them related to Casey. I am just looking for some clarification. I know what the knee-jerk touchy feely reaction is most likely going to be, but these are hard facts as I see then.. disput away!!!

1. High school Dropout
2. Parents purchased a house for their High school prodigy to live in as a reward.
3. Banged dudes at the reward pad (Johnafin..ect) and worked "sometimes" at a Best Buy while "hanging out" online.
4. Listened to the R&F show and saw a MARK named Dave.
5. Used the pussy and the looks to upgrade from not working in a house her parnets purchased in Ashville to not working/cooking/cleaning..ect. in Daves new more expensive pad in NYC.
6. Starts ALOT of shit at Daves work with people he WORKS with while hanging out at Daves pad watching game show network. (People that work)
7. Sorry number 6 isnt always right sometimes she hangs out during the day and misses the show while hanging out with other people (Johnafin...ect)

The way I see it is Lilly sits in the studio and gets lambasted live by Dave, the callers and the buddies. She deserves the abuse for crapping where she eats. She has to defend herself on the air realtime and gets exposed for her short comings and mistakes related to her interaction with Casey via Johnafin.

DURING that exposure and ass-ripping:
Casey gets to sit back on paltalk and lob typed barbs/insults at Lilly via Ron and paltalk. Barbs and insults that cannot be disputed because she is not live to respond.

I don't want misrepresent Casey, but I really don't think she wanys to be a part of the show. She doesn't call in, she's only been in about three times, and one time they tricked her into coming in to surprise her with the ring and another was the wedding. As far as I know, she hasn't been on the air at all since the wedding. Sure she put up some stuff on her PalTalk camera about Lilly or BabyGirl (i can't remember which) that got read on the air, but I understand that was fueled by emotions and it was something she instantly regretted. She's not a part of the show, and I don't think she wants to be.

In theory, she could tell Dave, Ron et.al. not to to talk about her, but she's I'm sure aware that one of the appeals of Dave on the air is that he really sometimes lets on too much info, and doesn't want to impede that part of Dave that people like. For what it's worth, Dave's ex didn't want to be a part of the show. And for the most part, she really wasn't. Not on the level that Casey "doesn't want to be a part of the show".

Outside of Ron and Fez, my personal life (and my sex life) was brought up on the air several times. Even though it made for great radio, I took my family's feelings into consideration and respectfully asked the talent to make me a target as much as they wanted to, but to leave Liz out of it.

If you don't want to be a part of the show, you won't be. Ron likes pulling the strings, but he also is aware of a line. If shit doesn't need to be talked about, he won't talk about it.

Gotta disagree. I clearly enjoyed the movie a lot more than you did, but I'm with Tenbats as to how Smith apparently missed that and basically negated the coda of his first film. It still bugs me...sloppy, Lucas-esque writing. Though, given as much as Smith has slobbed George Lucas' knob even as the SW movies got worse and worse, maybe it was a subtle form of homage.

Yeah, I get what you're saying, but I still just can't look beyond it being an extension of what he was already doing. And as opposed to FG, at least it's still always within the context of what and who we're seeing the whole movie and even at times has something to do with what ends up happening.

Dante's big revelation in the first movie is based out of Silent Bob pointing how Veronica doing stuff like bringing him dinner at work shows she's the one he should be pining over. Now in the sequel you have Dante dumping the woman bringing him food at work (the cake at the end). The biggest problem stemming from this is that Smith didn't really make Dante's engagement that terrible a thing. Maybe it's because he got his own wife play the fiancee and he chickened out, but he didn't really make her that "unlikeable" enough to really root for Dante to dump her. He ended just being in a kind of not ideal situation that was going to take him away from his best friend...sucks, yes, but was it really anything worth ending the thing like we saw? It makes Dante look more like a prick than your protagonist should be compared to how he's been built up.
