There were a lot of ceremonies lMonday (November 12) recognizing Veteran's Day...shouldn't that day have been Sunday?

They tend not to hold ceremonies when a holiday falls on a Sunday. People going to church and stuff. The St. Patrick's Day parade is never on a Sunday, either.
