I took a train today and I sat next to a old guy talking on his cell phone and trying to start conversations with me. Ignoring him, he got the message and eventually shut up. I always seem to sit next to people who just can't sit still or shut up.
I'm now looking into cell phone jammers. They seem to be around $140 and work up to 30 feet. Might be a good investment. Taking the train a lot, I'm shocked how so many people just use the phone to chit-chat loudly.

This is a holiday where I can guarantee I'll see some drunk relatives.
Most of them will be traveling with Captain Morgan.

Driving to Baltimore with the chick. We're leaving Thursday morning, hopefully there won't be much traffic, I just have to figure out how to get around that damn parade.

Last year I took a bus from grand central station with my brother, the day before thanksgiving. The second we walked in, he started cursing at me. The place was packed. People laying all over the floor. I just didn't want to drive, so to me it was worth it.

I am not looking forward to my commute home today. . .I have to drive past Newark Airport.
It's bad enough that on a normal day you have a bunch of yahoos who don't know that the entry from the local lanes of 1/9 south is in the left-hand lane, but in the holiday crunch, it's unbearable.
Of course, I'd rather drive than be on the train today. People get really MEAN, cussing at you and talking about how terrible it is to have to stand (etc.), shoving and pushing. . .and there's nowhere to go because the train is wall-to-wall with people. (Who all smell like death.)
