It's not too suprising actually. I've been doing a ton of reading lately about communicating across different generations (Baby Boomers, Gen X, Gen Y) and the traits of each generation. ESD is what, 30? That puts him right inbetween Gen X & Gen Y has he clearly has traits of both groups.

One of those key traits is that Gen Y is willing to live at home. In fact they are in no hurry to move out. Think about it....ESD lived at home for a long time. Doesn't Pitzy still live at home? I would wonder about the rest of the kids.

Quicksilver's still a dick, but even a bigger one than before. Since the '70's, he had a non-mutant daughter with an Inhuman, spent some time on the Avengers, and a couple of X-teams.

When his sister Wanda went crazy, he sought to protect her. Using her powers, she created a reality where mutants ruled, but when that didn't work, she used her powers to de-power most of the mutants on the planet, including her father and brother. (I have a sig of her doing so, saying "No more mutants."). After that Pietro stole the Inhumans magic mists that give them their powers. I think he's got some type of powers now, but not certain.

BTW, as for him being a dick, the writer Peter David gave the best character explanation ever to explain. You know how you can get pissed of in a grocery or ATM line when the person in front of you is too slow? Well, as a speedster, he feels like that about everyone.

I am looking forward to the Iron Man movie. As for Sub-Mariner, he's been on and off through the years. Sometimes he's the King of Atlantis, sometimes he's not. Currently he is.
