Is it possible to be addicted to things that arent vices and arent bad for you? LIke what about sushi, or shoes? I think im addicted to those

GWEN - Your question is rather broad as there are all kind of addictions and dependacies from physical to emotional and psychological. Addiction also comes in many srengths.

An actual "addicition" is characterized by a persistent compulsive need for and use of something that is habit-forming It is further characterized by tolerance and physiological symptoms upon withdrawal. Some also add a reqirement that the person is aware of the harmful nature of their addiction.

So while addictions themselves are not good, a strong liking or preference for eating sushi or a brand of shoes, and things of this nature are not addicitions, as you would have no physiological reaction if you were unable to eat sushi anymore.
